Warship Museum

The old ship allocated to Samsun by the Turkish Naval Forces Command will be turned into a museum ship by Samsun Metropolitan Municipality.

The ship, which was repaired by the Coast Guard Regional Command, was taken to Mert Beach. The ship whose internal arrangements will be made by the Metropolitan Municipality is expected to serve as a museum ship on the Samsun coast.

Providing information about the ship museum project, Samsun Metropolitan Municipality's Head of Culture and Social Affairs Department Necmi Camas said, “Our Turkish Naval Forces Command allocated the ship to Samsun. It was made by our Coast Guard Regional Command. We examine other ship museums to organize inside. Our work continues. We are planning to open the museum ship this year. When we open it, our Samsun will have a good project ”.
