Kabataş- End of Mecidiyeköy-Mahmutbey Metro Construction Approach

Under construction Kabataş-Beşiktaş-Mecidiyeköy-Kağıthane-Mahmutbey Metro Line's bridges in Kağıthane Station were completed and concrete was poured in the last basement.

KabataşWhile the works on the -Beşiktaş-Mecidiyeköy-Kağıthane-Mahmutbey Metro Line continue at full speed, an important step was passed with the completion of the concrete manufacturing of the bridges at the Kağıthane Station.

In the ongoing process, the new process includes laying of rails, station construction, mechanical activities and test driving stages. The line is planned to be commissioned by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality in the first months of 2019.

With the new transportation network, it will be possible to reach Mecidiyeköy from Kağıthane in 4,5 minutes, Beşiktaş in 10 minutes, Gaziosmanpaşa in 13 minutes and Mahmutbey in 28 minutes.
