All the concrete productions of the bridges at the Kağıthane Station of the Kabataş-Beşiktaş-Mecidiyeköy-Kağıthane-Mahmutbey Metro Line, which are under construction, have been completed and the last bastion has been poured.

In the ongoing process, the new process includes laying of rails, station construction, mechanical activities and test driving stages. The line is planned to be commissioned by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality in the first months of 2019.

Metro Line will pass through Çağlayan, Merkez and Nurtepe neighborhoods of Kağıthane. With the new transportation network, Kağıthane will be able to reach Xidum minutes to Mecidiyeköy, 4,5 minutes to Beşiktaş, 10 minutes to Gaziosmanpaşa and 13 minutes to Mahmutbey.
