'Kanal Istanbul' Statement by Minister Arslan

Ahmet Arslan, Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, said that the Channel Istanbul Project is not only a project of 81 million, but the project of the oppressed and the victims of the world.

In his opening speech to TÜGV Arslan Kars Branch, he stated that games played on Turkey for many years, "until the AK Party government in this region requires what their interests, Turkey was doing it." he spoke.

Reminding that the mobilization of the railway was initiated during the Ottoman Empire, Arslan stated that the Ottoman did not settle for only the Anatolian geography but built the railway until Hicaz.

Arslan stated that the ancestor, who struggled for independence and future in the first years of the Republic, made a railroad even in the absence period, and said:

“The railroad was abandoned to its fate from the 1950s to 2003. From the 1950s to 2003, if there is a railroad, there will be public transportation, people will go from one place to another, take the burden comfortably and their dependency on foreign will decrease. They have also cut off the engineers who made the Revolution car to sell us cars, sell their vehicles, and sell us their trucks. And they intercepted our engineers who made planes for that period. ”

“Revolution car is a car developed with the belief of Turkish worker”
Until the year 2003 domestic aircraft, the car is not allowed to do and those who want to do the way to cut Arsan, continued his words as follows:

“If we were allowed to do those airplanes that day, if we reproduced them, together with Bombardier and Airbus, we would become the country of the world that makes aircraft to the 3rd airline companies, the country's leading warplane, and not an expatriate, exporter country. Revolution car is a car developed with the belief of Turkish engineer and Turkish worker. If we were to start, we would not be staying by car today. Today, we would be the country that makes the truck and the bus itself. ”

Minister Arslan, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated that many projects have been implemented, he said:
"I will make the railways a state policy again and I will literally weave this country from Kars to Edirne from Sinop to Mersin with high-speed train networks, I will introduce my people to high-speed train," he said. He did not settle with this: 'Fatih Sultan Mehmet had carried the ships from the land, I will run the trains under the sea.' Someone said, "You can't do it," but thank God. He did not settle with it, 'I will also run the cars under the sea.' Indeed, he did it too. He did not settle with him for years, they said, 'We will make the highway that will connect the Osmangazi Bridge Istanbul to Yalova and from there to Izmir, and we will make a bridge,' but it remained so-called. Who did this, of course, our leader, our President Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. He did not settle with that, he said, 'I will protect Istanbul, which is the most important legacy of the ancestor like Istanbul, and I will draw the heavy vehicle traffic to the north of the city and make the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge.' Thank God he did it too. ”

Arslan stated that the Canal Istanbul Project cost 81 million and said:
“Today, they say, 'Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge has escaped from our hands, we could not stop, Osmangazi Bridge, 3rd airport has come to an end, we could not stop. This Tayyip Erdoğan is not satisfied with these, we started 1915 Çanakkale Bridge and we could not stop it. Best of all, let's stop Kanal Istanbul 'Sorry about it, Kanal Istanbul is of course the project of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, but let's not forget that it is a project that cost 81 million together with Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. So this project is not just a project of a person, this project is a project of 81 million people, it is the project of the oppressed and victims in the world. You will only be saying words. With Allah's leave, you will be ashamed of what you said on 24 June, as you did in the 12 elections, by scratching your neck and looking back. ”
