Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications Ahmet Arslan attended the Ordinary Assembly Meeting of the İMEAK Chamber of Shipping. During the meeting, chaired by Salih Zeki Çakır, UDH Minister Ahmet Arslan met with the new management of the Chamber of Shipping and DTO members.

Emre Eldener, Member of the Discipline Committee of the Chamber of Shipping of IMEAK and the President of UTIADAD; he mentioned the problems of logistics sector.

Stating that they need a free competition environment in the logistics sector, Eldener continued his words as follows; 'We will be faced with a transport regulations that will soon be adopted by the industry. There is an article in the regulation on highways where the ministry can intervene in case of need. We are in favor of free competition as a sector. We think that it will be correct to evaluate this issue in the free competition environment. We need to raise awareness of both importers and exporters. In this way, free competition environment can be applied, no need for ceiling or floor price application. '
