13 May 1923 The construction privilege of the Ilıca-Pier-Bonito Line was given to George Ralli for 40 years to move the bale mines to the shore. This person handed over the concession to “Ilıca-İskele-Palamutluk Railway Turkish Joint Stock Company”. The line was put into operation on September 1, 1924. On September 19, 1940, the line was purchased.
