TCDD 10 Piece Contracts for Velaro High Speed ​​Train

The Republic of Turkey State Railways (TCDD), led by a high-speed train tender which gave the best bid for 10 with Siemens Velaro high-speed train contract to. The contract price is approximately 340 million euros and includes maintenance, repair and cleaning of trains for three years. This agreement with the Republic of Turkey State Railways the number of Velaro trains in the fleet will be 17.

Velaro remains a benchmark for high-speed trains thanks to its capacity and comfort. Trains can fully use all the powerful features in Turkey and has already proved it in everyday operation.

The 7 Velaro high-speed train set ordered by German Siemens was launched in 2016. 519 passenger trains are able to speed up to 300 per hour.
