Kadıköy A fire broke out in Haydarpaşa train station during the disintegration of the empty wagons of the old suburban lines. Upon the fire warning that occurred at around 16.15, the firefighters who came to the scene were extinguished without growing.

In the statement made by the General Directorate of State Railways (TCDD), it was stated that "While MKEK cut the scrap passenger wagons in Haydarpaşa Warehouse Area and delivered to the Machinery and Chemical Industry Institution, a fire broke out in the wagons caused by the oxygen source."
