The Republic of Turkey State Railways (TCDD) Afyonkarahisar 7. Regional Directorate continues to work on logistics centers and contact lines within the scope of increasing the share of railways in transportation.
Until 2023, TCDD has been working hard to increase the rail transport share to 10 percent of the total transport, and works without stopping to achieve its goals. Within the scope of these studies, in order to carry the domestic and international cargoes of the factories in Afyonkarahisar Organized Industrial Zone (OSB) by rail, field work was carried out in the Logistics center and junction line projects, which are planned to be built in 300 thousand square meter area in Afitler.

The completion of the Logistics Center and Junction Line projects by June and construction works will start by the end of the year. It was stated that, when the Afyonkarahisar Logistics Center is completed, 800 thousand tons of transportation is planned annually.
