26 March 1918 was the last postal train to Medina in the Hijaz Railway. He could not go further from Tebük on the train that was moving from Medina due to the damage.
26 March 1936 Afyon-Karakuyu (113 km) line was opened with the speech of Başbaşkan İsmet İnönü. The line was built by Nuri Demirağ.
