Rail systems, which have become widespread in urban transportation in metropolitan cities, provide safe, cheap and fast transportation. Alaaddin-Courthouse line was added to the tram line operated by Konya Metropolitan Municipality in 2015. While the line between Alaaddin Hill and Selçuk University was 42,5 kilometers, the line between Alaaddin Hill and Adliye has reached 14 kilometers. In these lines with 118 watts, approximately 104 thousand passengers per day and 3 million 120 thousand passengers per month are carried.
