At least 30% of Bentong- East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) infrastructure project packages will be tendered from April.
Noor Azlan Salleh, construction supervisor at Malaysia Rail Link Sdn Bhd (MRL), said that packages outside the tunnel works will be gradually offered to qualified local contractors by China Communications Construction Company (CCCC).
“We cannot give details of how much the packs will be because the design details are still getting definitive. However, it will be worth several billion ringgits. ” These statements were made during the press visit at the ECRL construction site.
MRL is the owner of the ECRL project and China Communications Construction Company CCCC is the main contractor.
