Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) and Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Mayor İbrahim Karaosmanoğlu received the President of the Gebzeliler Association, Davut Nalbant and the administration. In a very friendly and productive meeting, Mr. Karaosmanoğlu informed us in detail about the projects to be realized in Gebze. We realized the pre-qualification tender of our Metro project in Gebze. We will hit the first digging of our driverless Metro service, where our people will provide comfortable and fast transportation, together with our citizens Halk.
AK GEBZE WILL APPEAR AT OUR COUNTRY “
Stating that the preliminary qualification tender for the Gebze Metro line to be built by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality was made, President Karaosmanoğlu said, ediy 4. A driverless metro with a capacity of 1080 passengers and consisting of 4 vehicles will be used on the Gebze metro line. Emphasizing the importance of the 12-station, 15,6-kilometer metro line being convenient to travel at intervals of 90 seconds thanks to the signaling equipment, Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Mayor İbrahim Karaosmanoğlu said, “With the completion of the 15.6-kilometer metro line between Gebze-Darıca-OIZs, a total of 32 round trips A kilometer route will be implemented. With 94 percent of our route going from underground, the transportation between Darıca, Gebze and OIZs will be provided in 19 minutes ”.
ISTANBUL WILL BE SUPPLIED WITH OTHER CITIES
Karaosmanoğlu added that the maintenance and repair area and the vehicle warehouse and control center will be built in Pelitli region which will respond to all kinds of maintenance and repair of the Metro vehicles. In The planned TCDD Gar station will be connected with other cities, especially Istanbul via Marmaray and High Speed Train. The journey will start from the first station, Darica Beach Station, 12. and to be completed at the last station, the OIZ station. ve The Gebzeliler Association thanked the Mayor Karaosmanoğlu for the added value of the project and wished success to the employees of the Metropolitan Municipality.
