The Municipality of Kepez keeps the memories of the domestic production vehicles, which are designed and produced by Turkish engineers, but which cannot be mass-produced. For this purpose, Kepez Mayor Hakan Tütüncü has prepared a project to exhibit vehicles in a museum that have left their mark on the history of the country, wandered the streets of the city and took place in memories. For this purpose, a museum of classical tools is built within the building of the former Weaving Factory.
Revolution in Kepez
This museum also includes the model of the first national car Revolution, designed and produced by Turkish engineers. In order to draw attention to the story of the production of the first national car, President Tütüncü built 1961 prototypes (models) of the Revolution, which was produced in 129 days at the Eskişehir Railway Factory in 2, upon the order of President Cemal Gürsel.
Revolutionary cars, produced by Turkish engineers, were taken to the Grand National Assembly building on October 3, 29 and presented to President Cemal Gürsel Pasha. However, the Revolution car number 1961, which Pasha was riding, stopped after driving for 2 meters because there was not enough gasoline. For this reason, the project was considered unsuccessful and put on the shelf.
To Vecihi Hürkuş
President Hakan Tütüncü is now preparing to introduce an example of his first Turkish plane 'Vecihi K-6', a story like the Revolutionary car, to the Museum of Weaving.
Vecihi Hürkuş, one of the most important names of Turkish aviation history ... is Turkey's first aircraft designer and manufacturer. Turkey has produced the first domestic aircraft. Vecihi Hürkuş is the man who made the first civil and military aircraft, founded the first private airline company and also hit the first enemy aircraft.
In 1924, Hürkuş had built the first Turkish aircraft 'Vecihi K-6', benefiting from the spoils of war from the Greeks. The aircraft needs a permit to obtain a flight certificate. A delegation is formed for this purpose, but since this committee is not equipped with sufficient equipment, Vecihi K-6 cannot take the flight license. 28 August 1925, the first test flight 15'de Hürkuş'ın plane, the plane is confiscated without permission and 15 day imprisonment is given to him.

Hakan Tütüncü, the Mayor of Kepez, who has a special interest in aviation, makes an example of the first Turkish aircraft 'Vecihi K-6' model in order to know Hürkuş's memory of this success story and Antalya. Vecihi Hürkuş came to Antalya in December with the 1936 plane. The plane used by Hürkuş had landed on the soil piste in the area where Andonik Cemetery is today. Vecihi K-6, which will be prototyped by experts in the coming days, will be exhibited at Dokuma Campus.
A model of the nostalgic tram car, which served on Taksim Istiklal Street, was also made in the workshops of the municipality upon the instruction of Mayor Tütüncü. Nostalgic tram is on display at the Weaving Factory campus. President Hakan Tütüncü also brought a train wagon to Antalya, where there is no train transportation for the children he loves. The train wagon, which was purchased from the State Railways (TCDD) and which will include a library and training workshop for children, took its place in Dokuma Park.
