A suburban train near the city of Milan, Italy, was derailed and overturned. It is stated that two people died in the accident and 10 were seriously wounded.
The accident took place in Seggiano di Pioltello. Moving from Cremona, the train was going from Milan to Venice. Many firefighters and ambulances were sent to the scene.
Officials said the train was derailed at Pioltella, 40 kilometers from Milan.
Local sources report that more than 100 injured people were transferred to the hospital and the condition of the 10 injured was severe.
Authorities said in a statement on Twitter that there was a technical malfunction in the train.
