Delo newspaper commented on Thursday; Emonika called for the bus and rail terminal project to be started as soon as possible and said the main railway and bus station in Ljubljana is a shame for the capital and all of Slovenia.
It is a shame that the city center station complex is embarrassed by both users and experts, from architects to urban planners, where passengers expect the bus to be open in the cold, snow, rain or heat, and the infrastructure is not adapted to the disabled; it is impossible to go to the coast by rail.
Construction of the Emonika project is expected to begin next year. In four years, a modern passenger terminal, a skyscraper, a hotel, offices and a shopping center are planned.
