Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Transportation Coordination Center (UKOME) by the decision taken in the transportation, in order to prevent the use of illegal Manisa Card arrangements were made in practice. MANULAS said in a statement on the subject, the use of the cards that are mandatory to be used by someone else determined that the card will be canceled for a period of one year.
In line with the decision taken by the Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Transportation Coordination Center (UKOME), regarding the illegal use of the Manisa Card, the card will be canceled for one year if it is determined that the personal cards have been used by someone else. The statement made by MANULAŞ on the subject is as follows:
In public transportation vehicles, our students and municipal staff citizens; Citizens aged 65 and over, disabled, close to cities and veterans benefit from it free of charge. Personalized cards are given to our citizens who have the right to discount and free travel to benefit from this right. Personal use of these cards is mandatory.
With the decision taken at the UKOME General Assembly, if it is determined that our citizens, who have the right to discount or free travel, have used their Manisa Cards by someone else, the card will be canceled for one year. Persons who are canceled in this way will not be given a free or discounted card for one year for the first time and for two years for subsequent violations. In order to protect the rights of our citizens, we ask our citizens to show their identity documents proving that they have the right to use personalized cards, if requested by the officials after the inspections carried out with electronic devices in public transportation vehicles.
