In India The Train Is Hit By The Elephant

A train to the northeastern Indian province of Assam crashed into the herd passing through the tracks, killing five elephants. Local media report 100 elephant dead in the region during the last 40 days.

Five elephants died in the accident, officials in the region, there is no speed limit for trains. It is estimated that approximately 5 bin 700 elephants live in Assam.

Last month, two animals were killed when the passenger train crashed into a flock of Asian elephants near the Gauhati in the northeast of the country.
