Within the scope of the COMCEC Meeting held in Istanbul with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, TCDD's financing agreement was signed for the 10 High Speed Train Set Supply Project.
Under the agreement signed by Deputy Prime Minister Mehmet Şimşek, TCDD will supply 10 high speed train set, 1 pieces simulator, high speed train set spare parts and 3 yearly maintenance and cleaning service. The Islamic Development Bank (IDB) provided this agreement with TCDD and the 312 million-euro financing is the biggest credit the Bank has ever made worldwide.

Within the framework of cooperation between TCDD and Islamic Development Bank, three projects have been carried out since 2009 and have been completed successfully.
2009 million USD has been financed and the 153,64 km long railway line has been renewed with the financing agreement signed in 1.415.
2009 million USD was financed by the Electric Locomotive Project financing agreement signed in 275 and 80 electric main line locomotive, one locomotive simulator, spare parts were taken, license and technology transfer was made and the production of locomotives 72 was carried out at TÜLOMSAŞ.
2012 million-euro financing was provided under the financing agreement of Ankara-Konya High Speed Line Development Project in 174,35, and 6 high-speed train set, one YHT simulator and related spare parts and 7 annual maintenance and repair services were taken.
