TCDD Transport, Azerbaijan Railways and Austrian Rail Cargo company signed a triple memorandum.
The agreement was signed in Baku, the capital city of Azerbaijan.
In the triple meeting hosted by Azerbaijan Railways (ADY), TCDD Taşımacılık A.Ş. Delegations led by General Manager Veysi Kurt and Rail Cargo Board Member Erig Regter came together.
Cavid Kurbanov, the President of Azerbaijan Railways, announced that they informed the parties about the transportation and transportation potential of Azerbaijan within the Trans-Caspian International Transport Corridor and the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars (BTK) railway, which was opened in October, and that they discussed the development of cooperation.
After the meeting, it was learned that the memorandum of understanding signed by the managers of TCDD Tasimacilik, Azerbaijan Railways and Rail Cargo covers the development of a competitive, high-quality and high-speed rail network in Europe, Central Asia and China.
