İzmir Metropolitan Municipality started the Bostanlı 70nd Stage coastal landscaping works, covering an area of ​​2 decares. The project, where the Bostanlı coast will be renewed completely, will be realized in 3 stages and the completed section will be opened to service immediately without waiting for the others. In the first place, there is the area between the “Fisherman's Shelter and Yasemin Cafe” which will be launched in March. Bicycle path will be connected to the Opera House
In the first section, which covers the area between Bostanlı Fishermen's Shelter and Yasemin Cafe, the continuous-barrier-free circulation line will be completed along the shore for pedestrians and cyclists launched in Bostanlı 1st Stage, and this road will be connected to the new Mavişehir Opera House square. Karşıyaka In order to support the coastal usage culture on the coastal area, basketball courts, mini football fields, deck chairs and picnic areas will be built in order to increase the quality of space and to support coastal use with new activities. This part of the project will be completed in March 2018.

A new challenge comes: Sea and Show
Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, opposite Bostanlı Marketplace, has a 20 thousand m² land and 315 m. It will create a “Sea and Show Square” with a coastline length. There is an artificial green hill, the upper point of which is 3.5 meters above the motorway, in the project designed for the citizens to establish a direct relationship with the sea, as in Bostanlı Sunset Terrace. In the area, there will also be applications where concerts and similar shows can be organized. A natural coast experience will be created for the user by covering the coastline between the fortification area to be created using large natural rocks and the walkway with various sized pebbles. Wooden platforms and reed pools will create a natural texture in the city. In addition, “Show Square”, on which a dry pool will be located, and a top cover was set up that separates the open-air cinema screening areas. The work in this section, which also includes a parking lot with a capacity of 141 vehicles, is planned to be completed in August 2018.

Turkey's largest skateboard park
In the last section of the Bostanlı coast, there will be innovative applications that will increase the attractiveness of the region and bring together urban people from all age groups. Skateboard, BMX, scooter and skate wheelchairs such as skateboarders to develop these skills safely to develop a skateboard park with an area of ​​4.250 m². Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, prepared in accordance with current approaches and international standards, this project, skateboarding athletes formed as a result of communication and collaborative work. The nature area will carry the largest skateboard parks in Turkey as well, that can also host international competitions.

A walking path along the coast will be organized and connected to the Fisherman's Shelter and the Opera House Square to be built. A rubber running track will be built along this entire coast. The cycle path will be renewed to be completely parallel to the vehicle path. Thus, coastal use will be made safer by preventing cycling traffic and recreation area from overlapping. In addition, a secondary bicycle path will be made in the form of a large ring to be useful for children. Yasemin Cafe will be rearranged and the seating area will be expanded. Along with the parking lot held in the first stage, there will be a parking lot with a total capacity of 1 vehicles in Bostanlı. A green fountain square will be built where children will have fun and cool off. By creating a green amphitheater and a viewing terrace, the bay will be provided from different angles. In order to increase comfort in the area, steel-wood and stretching membrane shades, wooden pedestrian paths will be built. There will be new precast seating units and urban fittings, bicycles and "Bisim" parks, modern sculptures, wi-fi access in the focus areas throughout the area. The mobile kiosks and automatic city toilets, which have started to be used, will spread throughout the area. Stone fortification will be renewed along the coast. All green areas will be arranged and afforested. It will create calm resting areas where there are wooden platforms and sun loungers with shaded and under trees, and wet vegetation areas where rainwater will be collected and evaluated. The final phase of the project will be completed in December 141.
