Driverless Metro 4 292 Thousand 344 Passengers Passed Per Day

"Turkey's first driverless metro" and in which on December 15 opened by IMM President Mevlut Uysal President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Üsküdar-Sancaktepe Metro first phase of Üsküdar-Yamanevler made 4 thousand 292 people trip over 344 days at the Hatter.

The first stage of the Üsküdar-Ümraniye-Çekmeköy-Sancaktepe metro, which serves without a driver and is an important line in public transportation, was opened with a ceremony attended by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on December 15.

The line, which was stated by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality to have a daily capacity of 65 thousand passengers, attracted great attention from the citizens after it was put into service. On the Üsküdar-Yamanevler line, 33 thousand 395 people traveled on the first day, 16 thousand 103 on December 194, 17 thousand 68 on December 641 and 18 thousand 87 people on December 114. Thus, a total of 10 passengers were transported in 9 days with the metro, which is 4 kilometers long and consists of 292 stations.

Park at İSPARK and continue to Üsküdar by metro

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality 'announced that the driverless metro provides smooth service with 9 stations. The drivers who leave their cars in the parking lots created by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality close to the public transportation stations use the metro, metrobus and Marmaray.

İSPARK Haldun Alagaş multi-storey car park on Üsküdar-Ümraniye metro line, Ümraniye multi-storey car park, Ümraniye Powerhouse open car park, Bağlarbaşı multi-storey car park, Altunizade open car park, Marmara Ilahiyat car park, Üsküdar Municipality multi-storey car park and Üsküdar open car parks. Drivers who leave their vehicles in these parking lots, which have a capacity of approximately 2 vehicles, can reach Üsküdar from Ümraniye in 500 minutes by metro. In addition, they can continue on the Marmaray and Yenikapı route.
