Mersin Metropolitan Municipality, the Department of Transportation of Burhanettin Kocamaz, the Mayor of Mersin Metropolitan Municipality, received the 'Transit 2017 International Istanbul Transportation Congress and Exhibition' at Istanbul Congress and Congress Center, Istanbul. visited the office and presented the award to President Kocamaz.
In Transit 2, which was held in Istanbul between 4-2017 November, with the creation of the 'Public Transportation Excellence (TUM) Index' and the 'Scoring Model in Public Transportation' by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, the field application of the model was performed by comparing the results. To be published, awards were given in the categories of 'Utilization of Technology in Transportation', 'Infrastructure and Investment', 'Environmental Consciousness and Energy Utilization', 'Service Quality', 'Financial Attractiveness', 'Business and Efficiency' and 'Health and Safety'.
