One of the last stages in the line production of Konak Tramway, which is being built by İzmir Metropolitan Municipality, is being passed. As of Wednesday, November 15, the transportation to the Üçkuyular Pier Junction from the former Tax Office will be closed to traffic as "one-sided". During this period, the connection from Fahrettin Altay Junction to Mustafa Kemal Sahil Boulevard will be provided through Mithatpaşa Caddesi Güzelyalı 19/1 Sokak.
The last connections on the line are made in the Konak section of the tram project carried out by İzmir Metropolitan Municipality in the name of environmentally friendly, economical and comfortable city transportation. In this context, for the works planned to be completed in Şehit Major Ali Official Tufan Street, which is still under construction and partially closed to traffic, transportation from the former Tax Office in the direction of Üçkuyular Pier intersection will be closed to traffic on Wednesday, 15 November. In this process, access to Mustafa Kemal Sahil Boulevard from Fahrettin Altay Interchange will be provided via Mithatpaşa Street through Güzelyalı 19/1 Street.
In the same area, the studies to be carried out in front of the Air Training Command for the line connections between Mustafa Kemal Beach Boulevard sea side and Ali Official Tufan Street will be implemented in the 2 stage. All manufacturing in the region will be completed in November.
