In Sultanbeyli, where transportation investments continue without slowing down, access to the district has become easier with the opening of the TEM connection roads. With the initiatives of Sultanbeyli Municipality, IETT increased the number of lines from 2009 to 11, from 31 to 321, and from 2135 to 28. First steps were taken for Sultanbeyli Metro.
3 Separate Metro Comes to the District
In addition to the transportation investments made by IETT, the first steps were taken for metro projects with the initiatives of Mayor of Sultanbeyli Hüseyin Keskin. In the first stage, studies have been initiated for Sultanbeyli Metro, which will be integrated into Üsküdar – Çekmeköy- Sancaktepe Metro. There will be 11 stops in Sultanbeyli for the metro line, which is 2 kilometers long. Works continue at the points where the stops are located. On the other hand Kadıköy - Ataşehir - Sancaktepe - Sultanbeyli Metro Line and the works for the creation of Sultanbeyli-Kurtköy Metro line continue without slowing down.
