The 10th International Transport and Transit Potential TransAvrasya 2017 Conference took place in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan.

Speaking at the conference, Kazakhstan Investment and Development Minister Jenis Kasimbek said, "The target is to be one of the important transporters between China and Europe."

The 10th International Transport and Transit Potential TransAvrasya 2017 Conference, on the theme of "New Eurasia: Development of Transport and Logistics Systems on Eurasian Intercontinental Routes", was held in Astana.

The conference focused on the development of the national transport infrastructure, the intercontinental transport corridors in the Eurasia region, and the efficient operation of the transit transport system.

Speaking at the conference, Minister of Investment and Development of Kazakhstan, Jenis Kasımbek, stated that trade has increased with the improvement of infrastructure in transportation and logistics.
