Number of companies receiving files for Narlıdere metro increased to 30

Izmir Metropolitan Municipality will bid internationally on December 7.2 for the construction of the 20 km F.Altay-Narlıdere Metro line. Giant companies of the building industry will compete to undertake the construction of this large project. 30 companies, including many foreigners, have already shown their interest in the project by getting a tender file.

The giants of the construction industry are getting ready to take a cut race to get the construction work of Narlıdere Metro. İzmir Metropolitan Municipality will carry out the construction tender for the project, which will increase the length of the line to 26 kilometers by transporting the Izmir Metro from Fahrettin Altay to Narlıdere. Announcement of the international tender held on October 20, many organizations are showing interest in Turkey and worldwide. So far, 20 companies, 6 of which are foreign and 24 of which are domestic, have taken the first step before the participation by purchasing tender files. This number is expected to increase further until the tender date.

Altay-Narlıdere includes Balçova, Çağdaş, Dokuz Eylül University Hospital, Faculty of Fine Arts (GSF), Narlıdere, Siteler and District Governorate stations. During the construction works, the line will be passed through the "deep tunnel" in order not to negatively affect daily life.
