Metro and trams will be at least 51 domestic

The Prime Ministry Circular for the production of subways, light rail systems, trams and similar vehicles with at least 51 percent domestic goods was published in the Official Gazette.

In the circular issued with the signature of Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım, the duty and authority to approve the projects and specifications of the ropeway, funicular, monorail, subway and urban rail systems and to determine the standards are in the force of law on the organization and duties of the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, dated 26/09/2011. It was reminded that the 15th article of the decree was given to the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications.
