Work on Istiklal Street was viewed from air

The last situation in the infrastructure, landscaping and nostalgic tramway rails renovation at Istiklal Street, one of the most popular streets of Istanbul, was viewed from the air.

Infrastructure, landscaping and renovation of the nostalgic tramway rails are being carried out by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality on the Istiklal Avenue. The last situation in the work on the street was viewed from the air. It is seen that the busy crowd had to walk from a part of the street because of the studies, while in some parts of the street the crowd was seen to be intense due to the studies.

Studies are carried out between the hours of 02:00 - 11:00 when the density of people is low. The works will be carried out in stages of 150 meters for the infrastructure and 100 meters for the nostalgic tram line. In the Nostalgic Tram Line, the parts of which dismantling work has been completed will be concreted temporarily, so that pedestrian and vehicle crossing is not interrupted.

The Nostalgic Tram Line will be covered with Elastomer (rubber) material and will be made of impact resistant, natural granite stone pavement. . With a brand new rail laying system, it is aimed to prevent breakage on the ground of İstiklal Street.
