Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, Department of Transportation, Kocaeli University Faculty of Theology and Kabaoğlu-Arızlı bicycle path area on the painting work was performed. In the study performed on an area of 3 km, the bicycle path was painted blue.
SECURITY PROVIDED
The Metropolitan Municipality is implementing various applications in order to encourage the use of bicycles throughout the city. In the works where citizens are made to ride more safely and easily, the bicycle paths are painted in different colors in order to separate them from the route of other vehicles.
UNTIL FACULTY OF THEOLOGY
In particular, the bicycle path used by the students continues until Kocaeli University Faculty of Theology. The level of security was increased with this study, which was carried out on the road which the students used intensively. Students who will provide transportation to their faculties by bicycle will be able to access the lessons more safely.
37 KM BICYCLE ROAD
By the Metropolitan Municipality, the 37 km bike path was constructed throughout the city. Bicycle routes to the regions that are used extensively by the citizens are important for safer transportation. Together with the painting works, the roads are separated from the main road and made safer.
BUILDING TO KOCAELİ BICYCLE
People in Kocaeli generally prefer cycling in general. Established by the Metropolitan Municipality in Kocaeli in particular, KOBİS serves citizens with 35 bicycles throughout the city. Bikes with 210 bin 60 members make the average 673 thousand 5 miles a day.
