81-year-old Fahrettin Tuna, who was lying on the train line in Tarsus District of Mersin, ended his life by leaving himself under the train.
According to the information obtained, the incident took place at the level crossing between Fahrettinpaşa Mahallesi and Kemalpaşa Mahallesi. Landing on the train tracks, Tuna lay on the rails when the passenger train numbered 62213 from Adana to Mersin was approaching the level crossing.
The old man, who passed over the train despite the driver's braking, died at the scene of the scene. An investigation was launched to determine why Fahrettin Tuna committed suicide.
