İBB 6 will take foreign debt to metro line

IMM, which has contributed a lot to Istanbul's traffic problem with the metro lines it has implemented in recent years, has taken action to build new metro lines.

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Council authorized the municipality to borrow 6 million euros (925 billion 3 million Turkish liras) for the financing of 968 metro lines, which have been tendered and started to be constructed. According to the decision taken at the council meeting held in the building of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality in Saraçhane, foreign borrowing will be made for the construction of 12 subways, which were tendered for 859 billion 6 million lira.

According to the decision taken, 120 for Kaynarca-Pendik-Tuzla metro line, 170 for Çekmeköy-Sancaktepe-Sultanbeyli metro line, 175 for the Ümraniye-Ataşehir-Göztepe metro line, Kirazlı-Halkalı 170 for metro line, 70 for Başakşehir-Kayaşehir metro line and 220 million for Mahmutbey-Bahçeşehir subway line will have a total of 925 million in foreign finance.
