Cooperation between TCDD and Sudanese Railways

TCDD General Manager İsa Apaydın16 October 2017 visited Sudan Railways on Monday.

Apaydın was accompanied by the TCDD Affiliates TÜLOMSAŞ, TÜVASAŞ and TÜDEMSAŞ General Managers.

Within the scope of interviews; a Memorandum of Understanding was signed with many headings, including the existing railway facilities in Sudan, production of towing vehicles, supply of materials, tools and equipment for the maintenance of lines and training of technical personnel of Sudan Railways.

TCDD General Manager İsa Apaydın and the accompanying delegation welcomes the Sudanese authorities Transport, Roads and Bridges Minister Mohammed Awad Makkaw closely the developments in Sudan, it is important for Turkey and railways in areas of joint cooperation, he said he was being followed.

Later talks between the delegations of Sudan joined the International Cooperation Minister Idris Suleiman and the Sudan Railways strategic plan in place fields and the government targets in line with the investments the support expressed satisfaction will hear from cooperation with Turkey organization.

TCDD General Manager noted that the positive results of the talks between the delegations will soon appear concrete İsa Apaydın he said that the works will be started as soon as possible and he will follow the action plan which will start with the technical training first.
