According to the news published in Cumhuriyet with the signature of Hazal Ocak, the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization started the “EIA” process of the Altunizade Çamlıca Rail System Line Project yesterday. According to the project introduction file of the Altunizade - Çamlıca Rail System Line submitted to the ministry by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Rail System Department, the metro will be 3.840 kilometers long. The line, which will start from Altunizade Köprülü Junction, will extend from Küçükçamlıca District to Ferah District and from there to Çamlıca Mosque. There will be four stops on the planned route, namely Altunizade, Çamlıca Hill, Ferah Mahallesi and Camlıca Mosque station, respectively.

The purpose of the subway line in the project is stated as: 'Altunizade - Çamlıca Rail System Line Project, within the boundaries of Üsküdar district of İstanbul province, with the capacity of 37 thousand 500 people; service is planned to be provided.
