Citizens, who learned that the traditional practice of making public transportation services free of charge on every feast and special days, was not performed during the Eid al-Adha, bombarded SAMULAŞ with phones. However, as there was no instruction in this direction from the Metropolitan Municipality, it was answered that there is no free application and discount during the holiday.
Noting that 50 percent discount in Istanbul and free transportation in Ankara and other cities are free during the Eid al-Adha, the citizens asked the Metropolitan Municipality to immediately initiate the traditional 'free travel on feast' practice.
