Connection works between Cumhuriyet Boulevard and Gazi Boulevard will be carried out this weekend within the scope of Konak Tramway's line productions. On Saturday, September 23 and Sunday, September 24, the traffic flowing over Cumhuriyet Boulevard in the direction of Alsancak-Konak will run from a single lane.
Within the scope of the tram works that İzmir Metropolitan Municipality continues to construct with the aim of environmentally friendly, economical and comfortable transportation, two important boulevards on the Konak Tramway route will be connected to each other this weekend. The traffic flowing in the direction of Alsancak-Konak on Cumhuriyet Boulevard during the rail connection works to be carried out within the scope of the "Traffic Regulation Project" prepared for the return of Gazi Boulevard on Cumhuriyet Boulevard, will be provided over a single lane at the Gazi Boulevard intersection. The works will continue on Saturday, September 23rd and Sunday, September 24th, when the traffic density is less than during the week.
