Diyarbakır Metropolitan Mayor Cuma Atilla asked for support from the Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications Ahmet Arslan for the project to take the 11-kilometer-long railway underground into the city.

Mayor Arslan, who gave information to the Minister Arslan about the works carried out by the Metropolitan Municipality, requested support from the Minister Arslan regarding the new project created for the line of State Railroad in the city.
REQUEST FOR RAILWAY UNDERGROUND IN DİYARBAKIR
Mayor Atilla gave information to the Minister Arslan about the works of Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality and thanked the Minister Arslan for the approval and tender of the project to organize the city entrances. President Atilla said: Devlet There is a State Railway line that runs right through our city. There is 11 mileage and level crossing in the 30 region. Two of these level crossings were overpassed. One of them is in service and one of them is under construction. But we want that; 30 instead of such overpasses in the region with a long-term project that will eliminate the traffic problem of Diyarbakir 11 kilometer line underground. Our priority is life and property safety. An area of about 38 hectares will occur. On this area there will also be a walking path including a bike path and a green band.
