The renewal of the highway bridge on the Meles stream on the Şehitler Caddesi route has reached the final stage. The bridge, which was demolished and reconstructed due to building safety, is aimed to be opened to traffic in about 1 month after Bayram.
A critical bend is overcome in Konak Tramway, which is being built by İzmir Metropolitan Municipality. Prior to the Izmir International Fair, the Metropolitan Municipality, which has completed the works in front of the Alsancak Station, has relieved the traffic and completed the Poet Eşref stage, which it aims to complete before the Festival of Sacrifice, a week earlier and opened the region to traffic. The works from Cumhuriyet Boulevard to Gazi Boulevard will be completed on September 2017, 2018-18 Academic Year will begin.
