The Ministry of Transport to Make Two Tram Lines in Erzincan and Erzurum

The Ministry of Transport has undertaken the rail transportation lines to be built by the Erzincan and Erzurum municipalities. The decision was published in the Official Gazette dated 28 July 2017. The Ministry of Transport previously established the Yenikapı-İncirli Metro Line of Istanbul Metropolitan and the New Airport Rail System Connections; Ankara Metropolitan AKM-Gar-Kızılay Metro Line; Antalya Metropolitan's Meydan-Airport-EXPO Rail System Line; Konya Metropolitan's Campus – Beyhekim – New YHT Gar-Gar-Meram Municipality Light Rail System Line, Necmettin Erbakan University New YHT Gar-Fetih Cad.-Meram Beld. He undertook the Light Rail Line.

Implementing the “Decision on the Amendment of the Decision Regarding the Determination of Conditions Regarding the Transfer, Acquisition and Completion of the Local Rail Transport Systems, Subways and Related Facilities by the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications”; Upon the article of the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communication dated 5/5/2017 and numbered 36562, it was decided by the Council of Ministers on 655/15/29 according to the article 5 of the Decree Law on the Organization and Duties of the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communication.

DECISION ON THE CHANGES TO THE DETERMINATION OF THE CONDITIONS REGARDING THE DETERMINATION OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS REGARDING THE TRANSFORMATION OF THE TRANSPORTATION SYSTEMS, METROLES AND THEIR FACILITIES RELATING TO THE TRANSPORTATION, TRANSFORMATION AND COMPLIANCE WITH THE MINISTRY OF TRANSPORTATION, MARITIME AND COMMUNICATION

Article 1-25 / 10 / 2010 dated and the decision of the Council of Ministers on the City Railway Transportation Systems, Substations and Related Facilities of the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications Adoption, Acquisition and Subsequent Transfer of the Decision on the determination of the relevant provisions The following paragraphs have been added to the third paragraph of the annex 2010.

“D) Projects of Erzincan Municipality:
1) University-Dörtyol-Bus Station-Airport Tram Line,

e) Projects of Erzurum Metropolitan Municipality:
1) Gar-Atatürk University Campus-Medical Faculty-Regional Training and Research Hospital-City Hospitals-Yavuz Sultan Selim Boulevard-Gar Tram Line. ”

ARTICLE 2- This Decision shall enter into force on the date of publication.
ARTICLE 3- The provisions of this Decision are executed by the Council of Ministers.
