The construction works of the “Halkapınar Underground Storage Facility”, where 95 metro vehicles purchased by Izmir Metropolitan Municipality to develop the rail system fleet, are ongoing. In this context, as of Saturday, July 29, the traffic flow of 2823 Sokak will be changed.
In order to carry out the works safely and quickly, the part of Şehitler Caddesi in front of Atatürk Stadium will be closed to traffic and vehicle and pedestrian traffic will be given as 2823 arrivals - 2 departures on 2 Street. While continuing the one-way application on 2844 Street, the road will be shifted to the side of ESHOT as 2 lanes to expand the road due to construction works and to allow traffic to flow more easily.
2824 Street will be completed in a short period of time.
