'Hello Phaeton' Period in İzmir

'Alo Fayton' Period in İzmir: İzmir Metropolitan Municipality brought a new breath to the pleasure of carriage in Kordon and created the “Fayton Call Center”. Citizens will now be able to rent for private organizations on the phone at (232) 433 51 55 and request a carriage for the stop.

With their specially trained Haflinger breed horses, Victorian classic designs and uniform garment coaches with both foreign language and behavior training, Izmir coaches add a different beauty to Kordon. 3 phaetons operated by İzmir Metropolitan Municipality İZULAŞ company and serving at 12 private stops at the exit of Alsancak Port, Gündoğdu Square and in front of Konak Pier, are traveling between Liman and Konak Pier from 10.00 to 22.00 in the evening. For the phaetons that take and take passengers between the routes along the promenade, 10 Euro is collected from foreign tourists and 20 TL from Izmir and local tourists.

City trip by car
Carriages drawn by 37 Haflinger horses brought from Austria by Izmir Metropolitan Municipality can be rented hourly with 150 TL or 50 € tickets if desired. In line with the UKOME (Transportation Coordination Center) decisions, Vasıf Çınar, Plevne Boulevard, Talatpaşa Caddesi, Şair Eşref Boulevard, Kültürpark (excluding International Izmir Fair process) and its surroundings, Basmane Square and its surroundings, Ayavukla Church, Hotels Street, Agora, Kemeraltı and can be visited on the route that covers the surrounding area.

Special shelter for horses
Izmir Metropolitan Municipality carries out the maintenance of horses and carriages at the special shelter in Kahramanlar.
