It was announced that the Eurasia Tunnel, which connects the Asian and European continents for the first time with a two-storey highway tunnel passing under the seabed, received an international award. The tunnel, which is shown as one of the most important alternatives in terms of fast, comfortable and safe transportation in Istanbul, was chosen as the structure of 2017 by Korean engineers.
The Korean Society of Civil Engineers (KSCE - Korean Society of Civil Engineers) received the Eurasian Tunnel in the 'Golden Category' 2017 Building Award of the Year.
8. INTERNATIONAL AWARD
It has been noted that the Korean Construction Engineers Association, the eighth international award given to the Eurasia Tunnel since the financing and construction phase, will be placed in the Eurasia Tunnel Museum for display, as well as other awards.
