Tram make-up for Lausanne and Montreux: Izmir Metropolitan Municipality renews the Lausanne and Montreux squares on the crossing route of Konak Tram, remaining faithful to the original.
Izmir Metropolitan Municipality continues its rail laying works on Şair Eşref Boulevard, which is on the route, within the scope of the manufacturing works of Konak Tramway. While the works continue in stages between Alsancak Mosque and Montreux Square, the Metropolitan Municipality also carries out landscaping works in the areas where the line passes. Ornamental pools located in Lausanne and Montreux squares, which are now identified with the city, will also be renewed within the scope of tramway works by remaining faithful to their existing structures.
