Last touches are being made in Akçaray: The last stage of the tram works carried out by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality was reached. After completing the finishing touches on the tram trips, 16 will depart on 07.00 on June Friday to serve the citizens.
NIGHT ASPHALT IS TAKING
Asphalt paving works are continuing in tramway works. Asphalt is thrown on the roads between the rails and the tram line after the night test runs are completed. Especially with the bobcat machine between the rails, the test drive is completed. After completion of the printing work and drying of the asphalt, the area is painted in green by a different team.
70 TON ASPHALT IN THE DAY
70 tons of asphalt paving is carried out daily. In total, 750 tons for roads and 360 tons of asphalt pavements for tram lines were realized. With the completion of the line, 2 thousand 500 tons of asphalt will be laid in total.
DURAK PRODUCTION WORKS
In the works carried out at full speed, stop manufacturing is also being done. Stations that are suitable for disabled citizens will be 50 meters long and will be 4, 3.5 and 2.5 meters wide. In some places, the canopy installation continues and the stops will be completed and put into service soon. In addition, the flooring of the Fevziye Mosque is still underway.
