In January-May 2017 period, Kardemir increased its production of liquid crude by 23,3, liquid steel production by% 21,9 and net rolled production by% 38,2 compared to the same period of last year.
In this period (January-May 2017), our company's liquid crude production reached to 747.353,7 tons from 921.538,5 tons, while liquid steel production came from 832.745,5 to 1.015.062,4.
In the first five months of the year, there was a significant increase in final products. Record productions were reached in Ray-Profile and Continuous Rolling Mill. The total production of Ray, Profile, Angle Bar and Mining Pole in Ray - Profil Rolling Mill increased by 33,9% compared to the same period of the previous year, from 134.343 tons to 179.824,2 tons. Total production of net rolling products increased by 38,2% from 397.628,5 tons to 549.652 tons. At the Çubuk Kangal Rolling Mill, where trial production started last year, 5 tons of production was realized in the first 92.802,3 months of this year.
It is expected that Kardemir will continue to have positive reflections on the production results of the investments regarding the capacity increase and efficiency increase and to reach the target of 2.450.000 tons of liquid steel production by the end of the year.
