Date Izmir Turgutlu Journey: held for the first time in Turkey and Turgutlu Historic Train Station starting at the International Literature, Literature Symposium's second day on the train sessions continued at the Izmir Alsancak Train Station. Manisa Governor Mustafa Hakan Güvençer participated in the symposium.
Manisa Governor Mustafa Hakan Güvençer, Turgutlu District Governor Uğur Turan, Ahmetli Governor Muhammet Emre Canpolat, Turgutlu Mayor Turgay Şirin, academicians, lecturers and students attended the second day of the sessions. A train prepared specially by TCDD and members of the protocol from Turgutlu train station and the participants arrived at Izmir Alsancak Railway Station with the presentation of academicians. Here, the Alsancak Railway Museum was visited, then Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şerife Yalçınkaya Dr. Ayşe İlker, Res. See. Gülden Yüksel, Asst. Assoc. Dr. İsmail Turan Kalimci made a presentation about the journey of the train in history. In the other session of the day, Assoc. Dr. Speakers led by Ferda Zambak Necdet Subaşı, Assoc. Dr. Hatice Fırat, Professor Dr. Namık Açıkgöz and Res. See. Fahri Kaplan, a delayed train ride, children's books in the train, Atilla Ilhan in the poems of trains and trains passing through the Danube and made presentations on the train. The participants then returned to Turgutlu railway station by a train prepared specially by TCDD. Participants' documents were presented by Turan and Canpolat and Mayor Turgay Şirin. Thanks to the participants and academicians, President Şirin had a souvenir photo taken at the Alsancak Railway Museum together with the participants.
