Public Transportation is Free for Candidates who will enter LYS in Istanbul: Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Council has decided that public transportation services will be provided free of charge to students and staff who will take the License Placement Exams (LYS) to be held on June 10 -11 - 17- 18 June 2017.
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Council, Assembly 1. At the first meeting of May meetings held under the chairmanship of Vice President Ahmet Selamet, AK Party Group Deputy Chairman Temel Başalan and CHP Group Deputy Chairman Ertuğrul Gülsever gave a motion to provide free services to students and staff in the LYS exams. The proposal discussed as 'Proposal Decision' was adopted unanimously by the Assembly Members.
According to the decision, students and staff can reach the exam places easily; Students and staff who will take the Undergraduate Placement Exams (LYS) to be held on 2017 - 10 - 11 - 17 June 18 within the scope of 2017-ÖSYS, submit their exam entrance or attendant documents and submit their documents to İETT Buses, Bus A.Ş. Buses, Private Public Buses, Metrobus, Nostalgic Tram and Tunnel vehicles, City Line Ferries, Special Marine Engines, Tram, Metro, Light Metro, Funicular, Cable Car and Kadıköy Moda will use Nostalgic Tram for free.
