With the strategy of developing more intermodal connections, Ekol launched a new train service between China and Hungary. The first test train, which went into service at the beginning of April, covered 9 thousand 300 kilometers and reached Budapest via Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus, Poland and Slovakia. The trip, which was completed in 17 days, takes almost 30 days shorter than the sea and iron trips on the same route.

Weekly train services between Xi'an and Budapest started at the end of April. Ekol plans to connect Budapest to other cities in China by direct flights in May. Ekol plans to connect not only Budapest, but also other European cities to China, with 8 train connections from China to Europe in the future. Ekol runs railway services from 8 railway terminals in China to 4 centers in Europe. Ekol will open cross-loading centers around populated areas in Iran to provide tailor-made domestic delivery services with order-to-shelf visibility and high vehicle efficiency. The company will also connect Iran and Europe with international and intermodal transportation services. Shipments between Europe and Iran will take place within 10-11 days with intermodal transportation solutions.
