Public transportation service will be provided to 10 neighborhoods in Diyarbakır's Sur district: Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality will set a new route covering 10 rural neighborhoods in Sur district and will provide public transportation service as of May 15.
Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality continues to work for a more convenient and comfortable public transportation service, and continues to create new routes in rural areas of central districts. Metropolitan Municipality worked to determine a new route at the request of citizens living in Küçük Bağ Pınar, Yeşilli, Yeni Doğan, Tezi Can, Sarı Yazma, Kapaklı Pınar, Yeni Evler, Devran, Ak Tepe and Ak Hüseyin Neighborhood of Sur district. Within the scope of the study, it was determined that approximately 10 households and 220 citizens reside in 750 neighborhoods. Public transportation service on the new 37-kilometer-long route will start on May 15 with the bus numbered K4.
