The roof of the renovated historical hangar building collapsed as a result of the impact of the earthmoving machine, which was doing ground improvement works, at the 16.45 ranks yesterday.

HANGAR WAS MADE IN THE 1800S
The hangar, which was built in the 1800s, managed to survive despite the ruin appearance for years. The hangar, which was used as a warehouse until the 2000s, had been left empty for a long time.

Kani Construction had taken the Söke Station Environmental Arrangement Project which started in April last year for the price of 7 million 622 thousand 768 TL.

The work is expected to be completed by the end of this year.
