The 2nd Line came on the Konak Tram Line: İzmir Metropolitan Municipality is continuing the production on the Konak line of the tram project, which will bring a new breath to the city transportation. The first phase of the works on the Şair Eşref Boulevard on the route of Konak Tramway has been completed. After the works completed in the 1-meter section between Lausanne Square and Alsancak Hocazade Mosque, it was the second stage.
Within the framework of the 6nd stage works, which will start on Monday, March 2017, 2, this time, work will be carried out in the opposite lane in the same area (from Hocazade Mosque to Lausanne Square). The lane where the first stage is completed will be opened to transportation in two directions. During the 1nd stage works, which are planned to last approximately 2 month, all kinds of traffic directions will be made and the productions in Şair Eşref Boulevard will be completed.
